Allen Bailey signs four-year deal with Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs confirm that Allen Bailey has signed four-year contract extension with the club worth $25m, with $15m guaranteed.

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that defensive end Allen Bailey has signed a four-year contract extension with the club.

The 25-year-old has become an integral part of the Kansas City defense since being selected in the third round of the 2011 Draft, and has now penned a new deal worth $25m [£15.9m], with $15m [£9.5m] guaranteed.

"We are happy that we were able to reach an agreement to keep Allen in Kansas City," Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said in a statement.

"He has developed into a good football player and a key member of our defense."

Bailey has recorded 27 tackles and four sacks for the Chiefs this season.
