Wide receiver Laurent Robinson believes that he is still capable of playing in the NFL despite sustaining four concussions in seven games last season.

Laurent Robinson has insisted that he can resume his NFL career, despite sustaining a string of concussions last season.

The wide receiver was released from a five-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this year, having played just seven games for the team in 2012.

The 28-year-old told USA Today: "I feel like I can still play, of course. There's going to be doubts about me with the concussions. But the only thing I can do is tell teams to bring me in, work me out and go from there.

"I've been putting in the work all off-season, trying to get better, trying to get right. I know myself that I can still play. It's just if a team wants to take a chance on me."

Robinson previously had stints with the Dallas Cowboys, St Louis Rams and Atlanta Falcons.
