The Jacksonville Jaguars have confirmed that Maurice Jones-Drew will play against the New York Jets this weekend.
The running back will feature in his first game since last October, having suffered a Lisfranc injury last season.
The 28-year-old has been practising regularly during training camp, but was kept out of the team's pre-season opener against the Miami Dolphins last week.
Jones-Drew rushed for 414 yards in six games last season.
