The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly offered centre Alex Mack a £25m offer sheet to make the switch from the Cleveland Browns for next season.
According to NFL.com, the player will agree terms with the Jags on Friday, which will then give the Browns five days to make the same offer to him.
If they do not, then Mack will be able to move to the Jags for no further cost on a deal that will make him the highest-paid player in his position in the NFL.
The deal is believed to be worth £10.5m across the first two seasons, with a further £14.5m coming in the final three of the five-year deal.
