Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson has revealed he is not "frustrated" by his lack of success and feels that he is playing well.
Richardson moved to the Colts earlier this season when Chuck Pagano's side traded their 2014 first-round Draft pick for him from the Cleveland Browns, just one year after being selected third overall by the club.
Since his arrival in Indy he has managed to run for just 272 yards on 96 attempts at an average of 2.8 yards a carry and rushed for just two touchdowns, leading the Colts to limit him in favour of Donald Brown.
"I'm not frustrated at all because I think I've been playing good," Richardson told the Indianapolis Star. "If you turn on the film, I don't have any missed assignments.
I haven't had any missed reads. I've been playing good. Stuff just hasn't matched up like we thought it would when I'm in there. I think teams match up differently when I come in. But if Donald is having a good day or Andrew [Luck] is having a good day, I think that's a good day for me even if people are keying on me.
"That might let Donald get going or let Andrew have a big day. That's a good day for me, too."
The Colts are 7-3 in their season and face the Arizona Cardinals in week 12.
