Gary Kubiak has reportedly been cleared to return to work with the Houston Texans next week.
The head coach suffered a mini-stroke during the AFC South side's defeat to the Indianapolis Colts last week, resulting in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips being placed in charge on an interim basis.
The former Denver Broncos quarterback visited the team yesterday for the first time since collapsing during Sunday's clash, and will resume his duties for next week's meeting with the Oakland Raiders, according to The Houston Chronicle.
Kubiak, who was released from hospital on Tuesday, is expected to make a full recovery.
