Gary Kubiak has revealed that he expects Andre Johnson to play this weekend, despite sustaining a concussion on Sunday.
The wide receiver was forced out of the team's win over the Tennessee Titans after taking a hit to the head from safety Bernard Pollard.
The head coach told reporters: "Andre's fine. He's doing really good. Expectations are for him to practise [today] with his pads on and that's the last stage before you can move on to playing again.
"So the expectations are for him to be able to do that. If today's an indicator, then we should be there [today]. There's still that stage, wherever the stage is, I know the last stage is practising in pads again with the team.
"So that's the expected to happen [today]. I just walked in with him here, so the expectations are for him to do that and we're on to Friday and ready to go."
Houston play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
