Andre Johnson hopes to be in Houston Texans training camp

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson says that he will "hopefully" be with the team for their training camp.

Andre Johnson has said that he will "hopefully" be involved in the Houston Texans' pre-season training camp later this month.

The wide receiver has skipped off-season duties, having questioned whether the AFC South side was the right place for him to play.

However, the 32-year-old told NFL Media: "Hopefully. We'll see what happens. Training camp's three weeks away, so we'll see what happens.

"I haven't been public about anything. I just choose not to talk publicly about it. It's in-house and that's the way I choose to keep it. I'm not a big media guy, so I refuse to talk about it."

Johnson has three years remaining on his contract with the team.
