Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing has admitted that he is unsure whether he will play in his side's clash with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
The 27-year-old has struggled to find his best form this season following his return from a torn LCL and broken leg sustained in the 2013 campaign.
The linebacker feels that if his play is detrimental to his long-term health and the team, he will make the decision to sit out the match.
"We're going to make the best decision for myself [and] the team," Cushing told reporters. "I think we all can agree the last couple weeks I haven't really been myself.
"It's been really hard on me. Any time I go out there I want to put the best of myself out there to help the team win. If it's to a point where I'm really not with my play and where I am with my health, that's what we're going to do."
Cushing has recorded 50 tackles and one sack this season for Bill O'Brien's side.
