Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has revealed that he cannot wait to return to action after six weeks on the sidelines.
The 21-year-old has been missing since the first week of the campaign as he required surgery on a knee problem suffered in his side's season opener against the Washington Redskins.
However, Clowney is determined to make his return in his side's next match against the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 20.
He told reporters: "I would like that. I want to hit somebody. Ain't hit nobody in a long time, in about a month. I'm looking forward to that."
Clowney was selected with the first-overall pick in the 2014 Draft.
