Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has admitted that last night's playoff defeat to the San Francisco 49ers was "very disappointing" for him and his team.
The Packers failed to take advantage of the cold conditions that were more familiar to them than their opponents, with the 49ers eventually running out 23-20 victors to end Green Bay's Super Bowl dreams.
Rodgers, who threw 17 of 26 for 177 yards and a touchdown, felt that the defence did their part in limiting the 49ers to just 23 points, but admitted that he wasn't at his best to take advantage of that on offense.
"Very disappointing, personally. It's frustrating not to play your best game in tough conditions. Defense holds them to 23 points. We should win that game," Rodgers told The AP.
The 49ers will now face the Carolina Panthers in the Divisional round on January 12.
