Mike McCarthy: 'No training camp restrictions on Aaron Rodgers'

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says that quarterback Aaron Rodgers expects to fully participate in training camp.

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has revealed that he has no plans to limit Aaron Rodgers's workload in training camp.

The 31-year-old is coming off consecutive injury-marred seasons, but McCarthy does not see enough reason to hold him back this summer.

"We're not counting throws all the time, and it's not a concern as it will be when he's later in his career," McCarthy told reporters.

"I mean, he's still very physically fit and so I don't feel like I need to protect him because of any type of elbow or shoulder issue, thing like that. But we just work through it, communicate and see where he's at every day."

Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone in the 2013 season, before a troublesome calf injury bothered him for several months earlier this year.
