Randall Cobb not cleared for injury return

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb reveals that he hasn't been given the go-ahead to run again after seven weeks out with a broken leg.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has revealed that he still has not been cleared to run to step up his recovery from a broken leg.

Cobb broke his leg in his side's win over the Baltimore Ravens in October after taking a late hit from Matt Elam and was placed on his side's injured reserve designated to return list.

He told reporters: "I thought I was going to be cleared to run two weeks ago, and I still haven't been. I feel pretty good, but until I'm able to run and able to test out, I won't know exactly where I'm at.

"It's kind of hard to tell where I'm at without running. I talked to the doctor this morning, and after the scan that I had right before Thanksgiving, from what that scan showed, he still wasn't ready to let me run yet."

The Packers are 5-6-1 in their season going into their week 14 clash with the Atlanta Falcons.
