Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson has declared that Odell Beckham Jr's catch against the Dallas Cowboys is the best one in the history of the NFL.
The New York Giants rookie made a one-handed grab in the corner of the endzone a fortnight ago, with the majority of NFL fans and pundits having stated that it ranks as one of, if not the, best.
Now league star Johnson - nicknamed Megatron due to his own receiving exploits - has said that he agrees with that opinion.
He told the Detroit Free Press: "Everybody knows that catch he made a couple weeks ago was the craziest I've seen in a long time – ever, probably.
"I've never seen a catch like that. Extension and all, it's crazy. On this level that's pretty sweet."
Beckham started his pro career with 48 catches for 699 yards for the Giants, despite missing the first four games through injury.
