Ezekiel Ansah expected to feature for Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is expected to play today, having recovered from a concussion.

Ezekiel Ansah has been cleared to play in his first NFL regular season game for the Detroit Lions later today.

The 2013 first-round draft pick missed over a week with a concussion, but returned to the practice field on Friday.

The Ghana-born defensive end made a strong start to the pre-season, intercepting a Mark Sanchez pass during the Lions' opening game against the New York Jets.

The Lions face the Minnesota Vikings this evening.
