Julius Thomas expects physical Super Bowl

Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas admits it will be a physical game in the Super Bowl when his side take on the Seattle Seahawks.

Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas has admitted that he is expecting a physical game against the Seattle Seahawks in their Super Bowl clash.

The Broncos' high-octane offense - which recorded the most ever points in NFL history - will go against the best defense in the league from the 2013 season when they meet at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

"I think all year I've been trying to avoid big shots," Thomas told reporters.

"That's just something you do as an offensive player, you don't want to let guys tattoo you when you're out there running with the football.

"On the line, that's a physical part of the field. All physicality is welcomed down there in that part of the trenches."

Thomas had 65 receptions for 788 yards along with 12 touchdowns in the regular season.
