Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas suffered a separated shoulder in the Super Bowl, according to a report.
The 26-year-old caught a record 13 passes in the NFL title game, but could not stop his side slumping to a 35-point defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.
According to CBS, Thomas sustained his injury in the first quarter of the game and possibly his side's first passing play when he was brought to the ground by Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor.
Thomas had 92 receptions for 1,430 yards along with 14 touchdowns in the 2013 regular season.
