Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has revealed that he is hopeful that he will be covered by Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman in the Super Bowl.
The 26-year-old had an excellent game in the AFC championship game, catching seven passes for 134 yards and a touchdown to send his side to MetLife Stadium to compete for the Vince Lombardi Trophy, and he now wants to elevate his game to the next level.
Thomas told reporters: "He's a great player. I'd love to have that matchup and show what kind of player I am. I don't know if we'll match up, but like I said, he's a great player."
Thomas had 92 receptions for 1,430 yards along with 14 touchdowns in the 2013 regular season.
