Report: Adam Gase to turn down Cleveland Browns

Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase will opt to stay with the club rather than pursue the head coach's position at the Cleveland Browns, according to a report.

Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase is reportedly opting to stay with the club next season rather than interview for the head coach's position at the Cleveland Browns.

Gase has been linked with the position at the Browns after his offense led by quarterback Peyton Manning broke the single-season scoring record in the NFL with 606 points in their 16 matches.

However, after waiting a couple of weeks to decide whether to pursue the option of interviewing for the Browns, the 35-year-old is leaning towards staying with the Broncos for at least another year, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Gase will become the latest coach to withdraw his name from the running to replace Rob Chudzinski, after Josh McDaniels, Todd Bowles and Ken Whisenhunt all declined the position.
