The Denver Broncos have parted company with head coach John Fox by mutual consent, according to multiple reports.
The 59-year-old's future at the club was tied to the result of his side's divisional-round playoff clash against the Indianapolis Colts, which resulted in a defeat for the Broncos.
Fox and the club have decided to part ways, despite being just one season removed from a Super Bowl appearance and a 12-4 record in the 2014 campaign, claim several media outlets.
Fox had a 46-18 record in his four seasons at the Broncos, but a 3-4 record in the post-season.
