Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has revealed that he is frustrated with the NFL for giving his team a short week to prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles.
John Fox's side defeated the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football but now have just six days to prepare for Chip Kelly's side on Sunday, an unfamiliar opponent to Manning and the Broncos.
Manning told reporters: "We're coming off of a short week — it's nice of the NFL to give Philly 12 days and give us six.
"So we've got to handle that. We've still got some guys injured. So we've got to get some new guys playing.
"We're trying to kind of weather that storm with our injuries. We've got to get ready for an unfamiliar opponent who has got a really good team at home next Sunday."
Manning broke an NFL record in his side's win over Oakland after throwing 12 touchdown passes quicker than any other quarterback in the history of the game.
