Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has hit back at critics suggesting that he struggled to play in cold weather.

Manning threw four touchdown passes in his side's win over the Tennessee Titans in temperature under 30F to move to within just five scores of Tom Brady's season record for touchdown of 50 set in 2007.

"Whoever wrote that narrative can shove it where the sun don't shine," Manning told KOA Radio.

The Broncos moved to 11-2 in their season with the win and still control the number one seed in the AFC playoffs.
