Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris has backed Kayvon Webster's ability, despite the latter being apparently targeted as the weak link against the San Diego Chargers.
Philip Rivers threw directly at him seven times in the 27-20 win, but Harris put that down to the fact that quarterbacks know not to target him or Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
"We know how teams are going to attack us," he told the Broncos' official website.
"They're not going to try to mess with me and Rodgers-Cromartie all the time. So we know that whoever that third corner is, they have to hold up.
"Teams are going to shy away from throwing at me and Jet, and that is what they've been doing. But we're confident that [Webster] he can definitely step up to the challenge."
Webster is likely to miss the next game through injury.
