Denver Broncos confirm Marvin Austin signing

The Denver Broncos confirm that they have signed free agent defensive lineman Marvin Austin.

The Denver Broncos have announced that they have signed free agent defensive tackle Marvin Austin.

The 24-year-old was available on the open market after being released by the Dallas Cowboys during the 2013 season, while he also had previous stints with the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins.

"He was a guy that really had a first-round grade three years ago," general manager John Elway told reporters.

"We worked him out last week, and he's healed from his back surgery. We thought he was a guy that could come in and help us."

Austin was selected in the second round of the 2011 Draft by the Giants.
