Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders were both forced out of the Denver Broncos's defeat to the St Louis Rams with injuries this evening.
The tight end, who is the AFC West side's leading scorer of touchdowns this season, sustained an ankle injury in the first half, and was unable to return after the break.
Sanders, who has also been a prolific scorer for the Broncos this season, was ruled out in the third quarter when a hit from safety Rodney McLeod left the wide receiver with a concussion.
The Rams went on to clinch a 22-7 win, leaving Denver with their second loss in three games.
