DeMarcus Ware says that he is ready to play, but will wait for the team's training camp.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware has revealed that his recovery from shoulder surgery is going well and that he should be fit for the training camp in August.

Ware said that he is ready to play, although not at full strength, but will sit out next week's veteran training camp to fully prepare for the team one later in the summer.

"I feel good," ESPN quotes Ware as saying. "I'm not 100%, but I'm good enough to play.

"I still got a couple of months to recover and get ready for training camp and I'll be ready by then."

Ware managed 11.5 sacks last season.
