Tony Romo: 'We're playing for everything'

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo admits that his side will be "playing for everything" when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East decider on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has admitted that his side will be "playing for everything" when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in their regular season finale on Sunday.

Romo threw a late touchdown pass to clinch a vital 24-23 win for his side over the Washington Redskins yesterday, keeping the Cowboys in the hunt for a playoff place in the NFC East.

The Cowboys still trail the Eagles by one win at the top of the division, but their superior head-to-head record means that Sunday's match will be a winner-takes-all encounter.

"Today we felt like we were playing for everything. Next week will be the same thing. I know in some ways we've gotten hit with just the fact of losing the last couple of years in the final game," Romo told The AP.

"I think we're the only team that keeps getting themselves in position to win the NFC East every year - that's a credit. It's also a negative in the fact that we didn't do it the last couple of years."

The Cowboys are aiming to end a three-year absence from the playoffs this season.
