Tony Romo says that he is more interested in winning games than breaking records.

Tony Romo has said that he will not be thinking about the Dallas Cowboys' touchdown passes record during this weekend's game.

The quarterback is one pass away from equalling the franchise's record of 165 touchdown passes, which is held by Troy Aikmen.

The 32-year-old told the Cowboys' website: "I'm not a stats guy. Anybody who knows me knows it's about winning.

"I hadn't even heard of that stat until you just said it right now. We just need to win football games."

The Cowboys face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
