Tony Romo: 'Dallas Cowboys to win Super Bowl next year'

Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo promises the fans that they will win a Super Bowl next year.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo believes that the team will deliver a Super Bowl win to the organisation next season.

Romo made the promise to the fans in his acceptance speech after winning the Nancy Lieberman Lifetime Achievement Award.

"This award is very meaningful to me, mostly because I get to be associated with this and to be associated with Nancy," Romo said, according to The Dallas Morning News.

"It's incredible and I really appreciate you, and we're going to win a Super Bowl next year."

The Cowboys put together a 12-4 run last year en route to the playoffs, but will have to cope with the loss of running back DeMarco Murray this season.
