Jason Garrett satisfied despite pre-season defeat

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett feels that his side's defense played well enough in their pre-season defeat to the San Diego Chargers.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett has revealed that he was satisfied with his defense's performance in their pre-season defeat to the San Diego Chargers.

The Cowboys lost 27-7 to the Chargers in the pre-season opener as Kellen Clemens threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Dontrelle Inman, while Branden Oliver and Kerwynn Williams went in for rushing scores.

"Sometimes they did okay," Garrett told reporters. "I thought in general San Diego was able to move the ball too easily on us. They ran the ball on us. They threw the ball very effectively."

Garrett's side face the Baltimore Ravens in their second pre-season match.
