Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has revealed that he will wait to see if the pain in his back is tolerable before making a decision on whether or not he will play on Sunday.
Romo suffered a hit to the back during Monday night's loss to the Washington Redskins and he did not practise on Wednesday as part of his set schedule in continuing to strengthen his surgically repaired back.
"That part has never been an issue, but we've got to wait and see," Romo told reporters.
"It will be about your ability to be productive in some fashion. That part of it, we will continue to evaluate."
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett has insisted that the decision on whether Romo will play on Sunday will be made by the medical staff and he will need to feel confident that his quarterback will be able to perform.
