Terrance West has admitted that the media attention on Johnny Manziel is "a distraction" as the Cleveland Browns prepare for the 2014 NFL season.
The former Heisman Trophy winner, who was selected by the AFC North side in the first round of this year's Draft, has been one of the most talked-about rookies this year.
When asked about the media coverage, the running back admitted: "It's a distraction."
Manziel added: "I'm just like any other rookie out here that they haven't got asked about a thousand times. So more than anything, I think tired of that.
"They're tired of the hype, which I am as well. So I'm sitting there seeing these things and I'm tired of it as well. I want to wake up with a week and not have my name going through something, and I'm working on getting better at that."
Manziel is expected to compete with Brian Hoyer during training camp to be the team's starting quarterback.
