The Cleveland Browns have reportedly requested to interview Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter for their head coach's position.
The Browns have been searching for a new head coach after they fired Rob Chudzinski at the end of the regular season, while several candidates have pulled out of the running including Josh McDaniels and Adam Gase.
Koetter will travel to Cleveland for his interview this week, but faces tough competition as Mike Pettine and Dan Quinn are also in line for the role, reports Fox Sports.
The 54-year-old has been offensive coordinator of the Falcons for the past two seasons.
