Andy Dalton: 'I have confidence in Anthony Collins'

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton admits that he is "comfortable" having backup tackle Anthony Collins protecting his blindside.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has revealed that he has confidence in backup tackle Anthony Collins ahead of his side's season opener.

Starter Andrew Whitworth is currently struggling with a knee injury and Collins served as the Bengals' left tackle throughout their pre-season campaign.

"He's had a really good camp," Dalton told the club's official website.

"He's a player that's been around for a while and understands everything we're doing. So I'm really comfortable with AC out there."

Cincinnati face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday.
