Chicago Bears hand Jimmy Clausen another chance in the NFL

The Chicago Bears give former Carolina Panthers quarterback Jimmy Clausen another chance to prove himself in the NFL, having acquired the signature of the former free agent.

The Chicago Bears have given former Carolina Panthers quarterback Jimmy Clausen another chance to prove himself in the NFL, having acquired the signature of the former free agent.

Clausen was originally brought into the Panthers in 2010 as their second-round Draft pick, however the player failed to kick on having only made 10 starts for the team.

"I am looking forward to getting on the field and trying to learn the playbook as fast as possible," said Clausen, according to the NFL's official website.

It is thought that Clausen will have to battle it out with both Jordan Palmer and David Fales for a roster spot behind usual starter Jay Cutler.
