Buffalo Bills beat Indianapolis Colts in pre-season game

Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel helps the side to a 44-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts in his debut for the team.

Rookie quarterback EJ Manuel made his NFL debut as the Buffalo Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts 44-20 at the Lucas Oil Stadium this evening.

The first-round draft pick completed 16 of his 22 attempts, passing for 107 yards and making a 17-yard touchdown pass to Dorin Dickerson.

2012 Olympic long jump finalist Marquise Goodwin, who was also playing in his first game for the Bills, scored the pick of the touchdowns, returning a kickoff 107 yards to add the first of five touchdowns for Doug Marrone's team.

Colts starting quarterback Andrew Luck played just two series for the AFC South side, making four completions from six attempts for 51 yards.

TY Hilton found the end zone after taking a 45-yard pass from Matt Hasselbeck, before Dax Swanson returned a fumble for a second Colts' touchdown.

The Bills will play the Minnesota Vikings next week, while the Colts face the New York Giants.
