Buffalo Bills running back CJ Spiller has admitted that he is close to returning to his best form after recovering from an injury.
The 26-year-old has struggled to match his performances of last season - when he ran for over 1,200 yards - in the current campaign due to an ongoing ankle problem that kept him out of his side's defeat to the New Orleans Saints.
"Everything is coming back just like we planned, so that's why coach listed me as probable," Spiller told the club's official website.
"We've had great discussions this whole week about seeing how it's feeling and how it's reacting.
"Everything has been on schedule so it's definitely starting to come back to what I'm accustomed to."
The Bills face the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
