Buffalo Bills place Aaron Kromer on indefinite paid administrative leave

The Buffalo Bills confirm that they have put offensive line coach Aaron Kromer on indefinite paid administrative leave following his arrest for assault and battery.

The Buffalo Bills have announced that they have placed offensive line coach Aaron Kromer on indefinite paid administrative leave following his arrest.

The 48-year-old was detained by police on charges of assault and battery after he allegedly shoved a boy and then punched him in the face following a confrontation over beach chairs in Florida.

Kromer was released on a bond and is awaiting a potential court date, but the Bills have taken the decision to place him on paid leave while they continue to investigate the incident.

"Over the last few days our organization has continued to gather information in regards to the alleged incident involving offensive line coach Aaron Kromer," the Bills said in a statement.

"We have been in regular discussions with the league office and have decided to place Aaron on indefinite paid administrative leave in accordance with the league's personal conduct policy while we continue to work our way through the investigative process with the league."

Kromer joined the Bills earlier in the off-season.
