Buffalo Bills' OC Nathaniel Hackett impressed with Thad Lewis

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett admits that he has been "blown away" with the knowledge of backup quarterback Thad Lewis.

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett has revealed that he is impressed with backup quarterback Thad Lewis.

Lewis will make his debut for the Bills on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals following an injury to starter EJ Manuel in their defeat to the Cleveland Browns.

"I was blown away when I first started talking to (Lewis after Manuel was hurt)," Hackett told The Buffalo News.

"I started asking him all these questions, and he knew the answers. I said, 'How'd you know all this stuff? He said, 'Well, coach, this is my job. I'm learning it just like I'm the starter.'"

The Bills are 2-3 in their season going into week six.
