Dean Pees: 'CJ Mosley can help us dominate again'

Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees insists that the selection of CJ Mosley can help the club get back to form on defense in the 2014 season.

Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees believes that the selection of linebacker CJ Mosley in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft will help his side dominate on defense in the future.

The Ravens selected the 21-year-old with the 17th overall pick out of the Alabama Crimson Tide, where he was a three-down player for Nick Saban's side.

Pees told reporters: "This guy will find his way onto the field, and it will be competition. Nothing is going to be handed to him.

"He knows that. Obviously, we think he can get on the field or you wouldn't draft him in the first round. We want to get back to the top on defense, and we think this is the guy right here that can lead us in that direction."

Mosley recorded 319 tackles, 6.5 sacks and five interceptions in his four years with the Crimson Tide.
