Joe Flacco has said that he is "excited" by the changes that the Baltimore Ravens have made ahead of the 2014 NFL season.
The AFC North side, who missed out on a place in the playoffs last year, have brought in new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, as well as five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Steve Smith and former Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels.
The team's quarterback told The Baltimore Sun: "It's a new year, a new beginning and a chance to do new things. I'm always excited. I think we've got a good team and an offense that can put up some numbers. So it's just on us to do it."
The Ravens have also re-signed tight end Dennis Pitta, wide receiver Jacoby Jones and tackle Eugene Monroe.
