Arizona Cardinals come from behind to cruise past Dallas Cowboys

The Arizona Cardinals come from 10-0 down to cruise to a 28-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Field.

The Arizona Cardinals recovered from a 10-point deficit to cruise to a 28-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at the AT&T Stadium this evening.

The match started in one of the worst ways possible for the Cardinals as Carson Palmer's pass on the opening drive was picked off by Tyler Patmon, who returned the ball 58 yards for a touchdown.

Dan Bailey then extended the Cowboys' advantage with a 52-yard field goal to give his side a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Cardinals would bounce back in the second.

The visitors got on the scoreboard with Palmer's first touchdown pass of the evening as he fired the ball to John Carlson in the middle of the endzone for a seven-yard score.

It was more of the same later in the quarter as Palmer picked up his second touchdown pass for a career-high sixth game in a row, this time firing it to Jaron Brown, who made a diving catch into the endzone.

It wasn't until the fourth quarter that either side troubled the scorers again, with Arizona extending their advantage courtesy of Andre Ellington's catch from Palmer's one-yard pass.

The game was well and truly put to bed with Arizona's fourth touchdown of the day, this time Marion Grice powering over from a yard out to extend the lead to 18 points.

Dez Bryant finally got his first catch of the game with less than two minutes remaining, and he picked up a touchdown shortly afterwards from a Brandon Weeden pass to give Dallas their first points since the opening quarter.

There was to be no comeback, however, as the Cardinals saw out the win to move 7-1 for the season, leaving the Cowboys 6-3 in the NFC East.
