Bruce Arians 'had a feeling' LeSean McCoy was heading to the Buffalo Bills

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians says that he "had some inkling" LeSean McCoy would join the Buffalo Bills.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has revealed that he had a feeling LeSean McCoy was going to leave the Philadelphia Eagles.

McCoy completed a shock move to the Buffalo Bills yesterday in a swap for linebacker Kiko Alonso, but Arians suggests that the move wasn't a huge secret.

He told NFL AM: "I had some inklings that there might be something happening. [It's] a great move for Buffalo not that Alonso is not a great player. I think he is going to be coming off surgery. When you have LeSean's resume, it speaks for itself."

Reports suggest that the Eagles contacted at least one other team to discuss a deal for McCoy.

The running back scored five touchdowns last season.
