Ekin-Su Culculoglu has reportedly agreed a deal that will see her enter the Love Island All Stars villa as the first bombshell of the new series.
The 30-year-old is one of the reality show's most famous and successful contestants, having won the 2022 series with Davide Sanclimenti and going on to appear in shows such as The Traitors US, Dancing On Ice and Celebrity Big Brother.
Culculoglu and Sanclimenti split a year ago after what she described as "a rollercoaster of ups and downs" - and now, after weeks of talks, the Daily Mail says that she has agreed to return to the show that put her in the spotlight on the condition that Sanclimenti does not take part.
The ten initial Islanders will be coupled up as a result of the viewer votes before Culculoglu is thrown into the mix, most likely at the climax of tomorrow night's launch episode.
"Ekin was willing to go back in the villa but there's no way she would sign up with the risk of Davide walking through the doors," a source said.
"It was agreed in advance that she wouldn't be faced with her ex like some of the other Islanders – she hates Davide being a part of her story and was against there being a new chapter with him in it.
"Luckily for Ekin, Davide is also unavailable due to being in a relationship, so it doesn't seem as though she's received any preferential treatment."
Love Island All Stars begins Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
