Zoe Gillings hopeful of success in 2018 Winter Olympics

Team GB snowboarder Zoe Gillings says that she will "keep going" until the 2018 Winter Olympics, as long as the funding is available.

Great Britain snowboarder Zoe Gillings has revealed that she plans to continue competing until the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The 28-year-old, who has now featured in three Games, missed out on the final of the women's border cross event in Sochi after finishing fourth in her semi-final.

"As long as I can find the funding, I'll keep going," Gillings told BBC Sport. "I'll be 32 in Korea and that's a good age for someone in my sport so I'm confident, if I get the funding support I need, that I can be there challenging in four years' time.

"The support from back home has been immense! I got so many messages of good luck before my event and congratulations after."

The women's cross event was won by Eva Samkova of the Czech Republic.
