Sam Warburton, Dan Biggar set for return to Wales training

Wales players Sam Warburton and Dan Biggar will return to training this week after suffering injuries in Saturday's Six Nations clash against France.

Wales have received a boost ahead of their upcoming Six Nations game against Ireland after it was confirmed that injuries to Sam Warburton and Dan Biggar last weekend are not as serious as first thought.

The captain limped off in the second half of his nation's 20-13 victory against France on Saturday with a knee problem, while Biggar took a blow to his hip in the same game.

A Welsh Rugby Union statement confirmed that both players will continue to be monitored by the medical team and will return to training later this week.

The win against France moved Wales up to third in the standings.
