Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Wolverhampton Wanderers could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town.

Wolverhampton Wanderers could be without as many as seven players up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at Molineux.

Yerson Mosquera, Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic and Boubacar Traore all remain sidelined with long-term, knee injuries, while goalkeeper Jose Sa is expected to miss out again with a shoulder problem, so Sam Johnstone is set to continue between the sticks.

Pablo Sarabia is doubtful with a calf injury and will be assessed ahead of kickoff, while Joao Gomes will serve a one-match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

Head coach Gary O'Neil, under pressure to turn Wolves' fortunes around, will consider sticking with a three-man defence of Nelson Semedo, Santiago Bueno and Toti Gomes, but he could recall Craig Dawson at the back.

Andre and Mario Lemina are set to link arms once again in centre-midfield, with Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matt Doherty - who scored in Monday's 2-1 loss at West Ham United - operating as wing-backs, while O'Neil will weigh up whether to recall a midfielder or an attacker in the absence of Gomes.

Tommy Doyle is one midfield option who could be selected to start, but O'Neil may prefer to call upon either Rodrigo Gomes, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde or Goncalo Guedes to start alongside key attacking duo Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup: Johnstone; Semedo, S. Bueno, T. Gomes; Doherty, Lemina, Andre, Ait-Nouri; Bellegarde, Cunha; Strand Larsen
