Emiliano Martinez performance pleases Kenny Jackett

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett hails the performance that recalled goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez put in away at Bolton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has praised the display that goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez produced during the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

The Arsenal loanee was recently dropped by Jackett, with Carl Ikeme preferred between the posts.

However, having been recalled to the starting lineup, Martinez was named the man of the match at the Macron Stadium.

"I went for Emi and he showed the very good goalkeeper he is. I was very pleased with him, that'll give him a lot of confidence and I have confidence in him and Carl Ikeme to do the job," the Express & Star quotes Jackett as saying.

Martinez, 23, has made five appearances for Wolves in all competitions this term.
