Kenny Jackett "pleased" with Hull City draw

Kenny Jackett acknowledges that his side "got a little fortunate" in their 1-1 draw against Hull City, due to a goalkeeping error by Allan McGregor.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has claimed that his side's 1-1 draw against Hull City was "a fair result".

The promotion-backed sides could not be separated at Molineux, as a goalkeeping error by Allan McGregor allowed James Henry to secure a point for the hosts.

Prior to that, Wolves had enjoyed the better chances only to fall behind to a Nikica Jelavic penalty midway through the first half.

Speaking to Sky Sports News after the game, Jackett said: "It probably was a fair result, we put in a good performance and I'm pleased with a lot of aspects.

"We were probably unlucky to go behind on the balance of play. We kept going and got a little fortunate with the goal.

"The last 10 minutes, when the energy went out of the game, Hull's quality on the ball really showed. They are a good side and a good yardstick."

Wolves, who remain unbeaten this season, return to action in midweek with a home fixture against Queens Park Rangers.
