Kenny Jackett: 'Loan players unlikely to feature'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett reveals that players that he has loaned out during the current campaign are unlikely to feature at Molineux next season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has indicated that the majority of players who have been loaned out this season are unlikely to feature in his Championship plans.

The club's return to the second tier of English football had led to suggestions that the first-team squad could be boosted by the return of some of the team's high-earners, but Jackett has insisted that they will be sold if a suitable deal can be found for both parties.

The 52-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "You can't say for definite but it's fair to assume that we've moved on.

"They're contracted players so if there are deals right for the club, we'll consider it. If not, they'll be coming back."

Stephen Ward, who is currently enjoying a season-long loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion, recently stated that he had received no contact from his parent club.
